A heartfelt one-person show about about family breakups and car maintenance

Coming to the Playhouse this month, Fixing is a new one-person show by theatre maker Matt Miller and director Peader Kirk about family breakups, learning car maintenance and choosing the right shade of lipstick to do it in.

Drag mechanic Natalie Spanner would like to teach you all about holistic car care – how to look after our cars, but also ourselves – and invite you to get down and dirty under the bonnet.

She’s also here to help Matt navigate childhood memories of the time just after Matt’s parents divorced, when everything seemed like an adventure.

These two worlds collide in a show which is both outrageous and touching, laugh-out-loud and heartfelt, interactive and caring.

Together, Matt and Natalie will try to ask, in an increasingly broken world, how might we repair ourselves, together?
