Spitfire Girls visits Buxton Opera House and announces full cast

Hannah Morrison’s stage roles include Plaza Suite (Savoy Theatre) and Truth/Reconciliation (Old Red Lion Theatre/Edinburgh Fringe Festival), Katriona Brown’s previous UK tours include Crimes On Centre Court and Around The World In 80 Days and Paul Brown’s theatre credits include Groan Ups (Vaudeville Theatre), Paul in Potted Potter US and ROI tour and Lennox in Macbeth (Leeds Playhouse).
Tilted Wig is proud to have reflected the pioneering work of these incredible pilots by carving out new models of touring for working parents. It remains highly unusual for a leading role on a production of this scale and length to be shared. In recognition of this innovative approach, the company has collaborated with Parents and Carers in Performing Arts (PiPA) to produce a case study that captures the learning and impact of this practice.

Presented by Tilted Wig and Mayflower Southampton – in association with Theatre Royal Winchester: Part of Play to the Crowd – and directed by Seán Aydon with design by Sarah Beaton, the production has been developed with support from the National Theatre Generate Programme. The production has lighting by Peter Small and original music composed by Eamonn O’Dwyer, with movement direction by Stephen Moynihan. The Spitfire Girls team is proud to be working with the Royal British Legion.
Spitfire Girls plays at Buxton Opera House. Tickets are available here.
