Sell-out Mancunian version of a cult classic returns to Ramsbottom

Dive headfirst into the gritty and pulsating world of TRAINSPOTTING, a new adaptation combining Harry Gibson’s electrifying script and excerpts from the prequel SKAGBOYS. Relocated to 1980s Manchester, this raw and unflinching drama follows a group of friends as they navigate the highs and harrowing lows of heroin addiction.

The play captures the visceral energy and anarchic spirit of Welsh’s original work, immersing the audience in a whirlwind of frenzied nights and moments of brutal reality. Storytelling is at the heart of this show, and from the outset the audience are plummeted headlong into a pocket of the 1980s Manchester rave scene.
