Full cast announced for Aladdin

Sheffield Theatres and Evolution Productions today announce the full cast for this year’s spectacular pantomime Aladdin!

We previously announced that Strictly Come Dancing superstar Kevin Clifton and CBeebies’ favourite Evie Pickerill will join Sheffield’s legendary Dame Damian Williams on the Lyceum stage this December.

Now, we are pleased to announce the the full cast for our festive extravaganza!

Sario Solomon, who recently performed as a T-Bird on the UK tour of Grease, joins the cast in the titular role of Aladdin and Joey Wilby returns having entertained Sheffield in Jack and the Beanstalk in 2022. Barnsley-based comic and presenter George Akid also returns having performed in last year’s pantomime Snow White, and we are delighted to have Lauren Chia, direct from the UK tour of The Rocky Horror Show, taking on the role of Princess Jasmine. Finally, preparing to make all your wishes come true as the Genie, is Elliot Broadfoot, who most recently toured to the Lyceum  in I Should Be So Lucky!

The company is completed by a talented ensemble including: Thandie Nsingo; Eleanor Rose Jackson; Charlotte Ross Gower; Max Sanderson; Onuri Smith and Lucas Wells, with Eleanor performing in her hometown of Sheffield.

Once again, the show will be written and directed by Paul Hendy and produced by Evolution Productions, the same team behind last year’s winner of Best Pantomime at the UK Pantomime Awards, Snow White!

Aladdin promises to be another top-quality family pantomime with laugh-out-loud thrills, stunning costumes, lavish sets, fabulous music and hilarious jokes.
