Macbeth Coming to Grand Opera House

Dickens Theatre Company present the Bard’s bloodiest tragedy! The unique adaptation of the ‘Scottish Play’ tours theatres across the UK and is coming to York in January. With the infamous Porter acting as narrator, an ensemble of 7 actors create a cauldron of characters, as Macbeth and Lady Macbeth make their perilous descent towards Hell. Set against a back-drop of war, witchery and treasonous plotting, Macbeth’s rise and fall from power remains ominously relevant in the 21st Century.

“What’s done cannot be undone!” As part of DTC’s Revision on Tour (alongside Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde on 24 January and Romeo & Juliet on 25 January), this Macbeth entertains and educates… to the bitter end.
