Theatre by the Lake is thrilled to welcome back Goblin, the fabulous company who brought last year’s Christmas show for little ones, Hey Diddle Diddle!, with their brand-new show The Legend of the Jazz Penguin which is showing in TBTL’s Studio from 10 to 29 December.

The Legend of the Jazz Penguin features original music, brilliant puppetry and lots of fun interaction that will have the little ones jumping for joy. Their show journeys to the North Pole Jazz Lounge, a magical place with a very special guest: the Jazz Penguin.

Audiences will hear the tale of how the Penguin found the Jazz on a wintery adventure around the world where he meets a merry mixture of different musical animals from dancing eggs to a drumming octopus. Expect tooting, trumpeting and bopping in this hilarious and festive celebration of music.

The Legend of the Jazz Penguin is brought to TBTL by renowned children’s theatre company, Goblin (“Funny and beautiful… dazzling.” The Guardian) who are dedicated to imagination, diversity and quality. They tell stories with positive, contemporary themes that children of all backgrounds can relate to, and their shows are characterised by innovative use of original music, wild creativity and a healthy dose of anarchy!

The show is suitable for children ages 2 years and up, with a running time of 45 mins. For more information click Here or call the Box Office on 017687 74411. The show is already proving popular so booking soon is recommended.
