Cast announced for Pride & Prejudice* (*sort of) at Buxton Opera House

Casting has been announced for the Olivier and Evening Standard Theatre Award-winning West End sensation, Pride & Prejudice* (*sort of) which visits Buxton as part of its fourth UK Tour from Mon 5 – Sat 10 Oct 2026.

Joining the cast of the Olivier Award-winning production is Georgia Frith (Elizabeth Bennet), Eva Hope (Jane Bennet, Lady Catherine de Burgh), Rozanne Morgan (Mary Bennet, Lydia Bennet, Mr Gardiner), Julia Murray (Mrs Bennet, Fitzwilliam Darcy), and Phoebe Marshall (Charlotte Lucas, Charles Bingley and Miss Bingley). Rounding out the company as covers are Emily Cruz, Grace Farrell and Anastasia Sims-Chin.

Men, money and microphones will be fought over in this irreverent but affectionate adaptation where the stakes couldn’t be higher when it comes to romance. The show features a string of pop classics including Young Hearts Run Free, Will You Love Me Tomorrow and You’re So Vain.

Pride & Prejudice* (*sort of) is directed by Olivier and Evening Standard Theatre Award Winner Isobel McArthur. Comedy staging is by Jos Houben, design by Ana Inés Jabares-Pita, lighting by Ryan Joseph Stafford, musical supervision by Michael John McCarthy, sound design by Michael John McCarthy and Niamh Gaffney for Autograph, Assistant Director is Finlay Glen, Music Associate is Shona Murray, Costume Supervisor is Morag Pirrie, Fight Director is Claire Llewellyn, Production Manager is Blair Halliday, Company Manager is Heather Robertson, Deputy Stage Manager is Jodie Day, Assistant Stage Managers are Declan Smith and Laura Walker, Sound No. 1 is Toby McFarlane, Wardrobe by Rob Bicknell, Casting by Marc Frankum.
