Northern Ballet brings dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol to Sheffield

Northern Ballet revives its beloved production of A Christmas Carol just in time for the festive season.

Northern Ballet will spread Christmas cheer across Sheffield this winter with a new UK-wide tour of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, opening at the city’s Lyceum Theatre from Thursday 7 October – Saturday 9 November. This magical production combines traditional ballet and captivating theatre to tell the story of Ebenezer Scrooge and his transformation from notorious grump to champion of the Christmas spirit.

As the clock strikes midnight join Ebenezer Scrooge on the journey of a lifetime to discover the true meaning of Christmas. Charles Dickens’ timeless tale is reimagined through dance, music and storytelling which will transport you to Victorian England and leave your heart aglow.

A Christmas Carol opens at the Lyceum Theatre from Thursday 7 October – Saturday 9 November.
